Privacy policy
Effective November 2, 2026
Mikko Digital ("we") fixes marketing for independent businesses. This page explains what we collect on mikkodigital.com, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. The short version: we collect as little as we can, we never sell it, and we delete it when you ask.
What we collect
- What you type into our forms. Your name, business name, email or phone, your message, and your website if you ask for a free audit. On a private audit page, the fixes you pick and how you'd like us to reach you.
- Basic visit counts. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page visits without cookies and without building a profile of you.
- Technical data needed to run the site. Our host, Cloudflare, sees things like your IP address and browser type so it can deliver pages and block spam and attacks. We use your IP address briefly to limit how many messages one visitor can send.
- Private audit pages. If we made an audit for your business, we may record when the page is opened and which fixes are picked, so we know when to follow up. Audits only contain information that is already public, such as your website, your Google listing and your reviews.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't share it for advertising.
- We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
- We don't follow you across other websites.
How we use it
Only to reply to you, to prepare and follow up on audits and work you ask about, to keep the site working and safe, and to see which pages are useful.
Where it goes
Form messages are emailed to our business inbox through Cloudflare. We don't keep a separate database of form messages. We use a small number of service providers to run the business, such as Cloudflare for hosting and Google for email, and they only handle your information to provide that service.
On your device
If you open a private audit, your browser remembers that audit's name and link for up to 60 days, so the main site can show a "back to your audit" bar. This stays on your device and is never sent to us. You can close the bar or clear your browser data at any time.
How long we keep it
We keep messages as long as we need them to work with you, then delete them. Private audit pages are taken down after about 90 days, or right away if you ask.
Your choices
Email hello@mikkodigital.com to see what we have about you, correct it, or delete it, or to have your audit taken down. If we email you and you'd rather we didn't, reply "no" and we'll stop.
Do Not Track
We don't track visitors across other sites, so a browser's Do Not Track setting doesn't change anything here.
Children
This site is for business owners. It isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
